Didn't like the sh!t he pulled his final few years here but what a Killer Canucks player at his peak. Team rolled with Kes. - LordHumungous
Clearly the team has changed to a more sensitive culture since those days.

Hopefully you're hearing that from Eklund. |

One is a playoff hero the other did a thing or two in the bubble. Now, will JTM sign a feasible contract or fetch a good return? That will solidify the debate, no? |

Sat on a Miller trade return:
They can probably still get what they were offered at the deadline as the season goes on but they prefer to get one really good (premium) player back.

Sat strongly hinting he doesn't think this gets to the trade deadline. Doesn't think he will be traded in August either.
Sat throws out the Avs as a possibile destination.

Sat: I'm not expecting a Miller trade in August.
Wonders what happens in training camp or pre-season if he's still not signed.
Sat thinks waiting for trade deadline is worst case scenario but he believes they will trade him even if they're in a playoff spot. |

My guess is traded if not signed no matter what. JR has never insinuated the PO’s would change anything. |

Unless they say, "we want to give the team the best chance to win". |

So JTM replaces Kadri after he signs fat contract with Flames?
This works if Avs send one of their many RHD to Canucks.

Kadri still linked to NYI. AV's are an interesting trade partner. The more the better.

Kadri was smart and rejected a trade to Calgary already. No chance he signs there. Especially after what happened last year in the Battle of Alberta. 2/3 of their top line had to leave town after that embarrassment. |

He was an MP and didn't play very many seasons. I think he played a half dozen games or so before winning the Conn Smythe in those playoffs. |
