It’s common sense that shutting down your economy to win political points but allowing your billion dollar companies to stay open to include letting people play football would have long lasting effects.

Literally, they allowed people to play football and breath on each other, but wouldn’t let people open their gym. Unfortunately majority of the world lacks common sense. It’s why 1% of people own the majority of wealth

out of state companies are buying houses in my neighborhood left and right and raising the rent 500 a month on renters

it's going to be a clear case of the haves and have nots in another 2 years

Dudes,
I gotta say, I didn’t like the signing at all because I didn’t think it was necessary, but I really liked Duke Johnson yesterday. Hyde is thought to have sure hands on punt return, and he does, but he doesn’t make anything happen. Duke just looks sure handed and makes things happen.

Man the Bills linebacker depth is great. Did the kid from Clemson not look like the next AJ Klein? I don’t think Edmunds gets a 2nd contract. Andre Smith and the kid from Clemson look like serviceable replacements. Unless you get crazy and trade Edmunds for Roquan Smith.

The kicks were made, but I didn’t think Punt God got the laces turned on the extra point and put down quite a tilt on the game winning field goal. I didnt see the replay and could be way off and they went in so whatever I guess. The way he sits he has no shot getting off the turf in a fire situation though. Hack sucks and Punt God boomed his one chance so he has to be the punter, but I don’t get why he has to be the holder.

Lastly, Barkley should be the backup. Much more command and decisiveness.

way too much stuff coming from overseas IMO

"free" covid tests made in China

we can make that stuff in the states, just 1 example

- homiedclown

We could make stuff here
But we’ve been moving further & further away from manufacturing & production for over a half century at this point

Duke might have sent Taiwan Jones and Tavon Austin home packing their bags

super bowl or bust year and I think Duke and Hodgins may have done enough to part ways with Jones and Kumerow

an injury happens, and Duke can step in to be that third down RB which offers more then Jones

Taiwan is a great gunner though. I always thought he was a smaller back. He was the biggest back of the group when I went to TC.

These roster spots will be determined by who looks best on specials teams & not necessarily who’s making plays against guys who are gonna end up getting cut

People making $15/hour making burgers & fries is not what’s wrong with our economy

It’s completely inconsequential to our problem of the decline in manufacturing in our country

Neither will play much (if any) RB for us,
so whoever is best on special teams is gonna make the roster
Idk that age will be a big factor
Might be a tie-breaker if they’re neck & neck

Not being a jerk, but if it is just a high school job, are fries only available in the summer and then weeknights and weekends during the school year? Millions of overweight Americans want to know.

I think if you're willing and able to work 40 hours/week, you should make a living wage.

Who is paying 25 dollars for a burger combo when you got 8 Mcdees workers making 15-20 an hour, this is how you get higher inflation

Then McDees realizes they can sell 10 dollars for a combo and just use computers and automation and then everyone is out of a job

In London they now have grocery stores without employees

This is the direction when wages go to high, McDees and Cashiers are not jobs to raise families with

Not a career, but a job. Perhaps that's the best the cart rounder can do?

It is a problem though. In a vacuum it sounds great. In the real world it creates issues. You can’t pay the lowest skills jobs 15-20 dollars an hour, it screws the middle class. Those people who made 20 dollars before (double someone who made 10) don’t get raises to 40 an hour. If they did, the people who made 40 (double someone who made 20), don’t get 80.

What really happens is the people who used to make 20, just quit their jobs and do the low skill work. It’s happening everywhere. Huge shortages in jobs that used to be hard to get because why would people go to college when they can make the same flipping burgers

Not to mention the massive inflation it causes. It’s a global economy. People who couldn’t buy a car for example now can afford a car priced in 2019 cost. Well there are only so many durable goods to go around. Both people don’t buy a car, the car place only has one, they just jack the price up because two people are competing for it now.

Capitalism fails when you introduce artificial wages. Socialism fails because no one wants to work.
