fwiw I see folks who complain about thousands of dead ppl voting are really referring to voter registration rolls. Lots and lots of deceased ppl still show up as registered voters after they die.

When a certain sleazy ex-President just spouts numbers at his rallies saying the massive voter fraud caused by these thousands of dead ppl voting is the reason he lost, what it really means is some aid showed him there are x-many dead folks still registered to vote and he mistakenly (or disingenuously) thinks they all voted, en masse, for his opponent. Or at least he says it over and over because so many gullible people want to believe it's true. Dead people do not vote.

Kind of funny that this ex-President's own Chief of Staff illegally voted in 2 states in 2020. And one of his senior advisors, whom was given a Presidential pardon, publicly states he wants to destroy American democracy. And another senior advisor named Jared, who could not even qualify for security clearance, and whose only experience was "landlord", got 3 billion dollars from Saudis just months after leaving the White House. Hunter Biden, my hairy butt, we should be prosecuting Jared and Ivanka (who secured Chinese manufacturing patents only days after her Daddy publicly placated China about trade talks). Those patents are incredibly hard to get, just like the Einstein visa that Melania was able to stay in the US with after breaking the rules by working as a model while on her temporary visa...and then the chain migration by which her family were allowed to come to the US. Lock THEM up.


Also, what's wrong with mail-in voting? It benefits the elderly, rural folks, the disabled, urban dwellers, travellers, folks with kids, folks with 2 jobs, anyone without a car, and has been shown to be as secure as in-person. Politicians mail their votes all the time.

But at the end of the day, I can't wait for hockey to start for real. Sabres are going to surprise a lot of people.
