I would rather have him at 4 years then 7 of course. Also rather have what the Avs offered him but I don’t think he’ll take that from us unfortunately. Like I keep saying likely nobody knows what the actual number or term is.

Absolutely. I think everyone on here would agree with shorter term for an almost 32 year old, physical player. I’m hoping that if Sakic did indeed make his offer, that we will know soon what Kadri’s decision is. I am a big fan of Pageau’s also. Agreed on the rest.

Going to be tough enough to get one let alone two. Would be a huge mistake to trade a #1 unless you get a young controlled impact player.

It all depends on how confident Lou is that the roster can challenge for the cup when he’s done with it. Between his age, the age of our core, and where I think his confidence is at with the teams ability I say he goes for it and doesn’t care about next years first. I may or may not agree with it depending on what exactly he does but I think that’s where his head is at.

Im also not sure if he’ll be able to get done what he wants to do so he may hold onto everything if that happens.
