I honestly have no idea what to expect from this team...none, zip, zero. If you showed me this roster after the 2020-21 season, I would have thought we would be okay. The catastrophe of last season obviously kills all confidence. So much is riding on Wally finding his way this year and guys like Pageau Beau and Palmieri being consistent contributors.

Well hopefully guys like Wahlstrom and Beau can take a big step forward under Lambert, which is obviously a big "maybe", and become bigger contributors. Absent of bringing in outside help, that's what it's going to take for them to have a successful year

Of all the players who switched teams this year the only guy I would have wanted them to get was debrincat. I know it would have costed a lot but I feel he is worth it.

Maybe if it was last summer and we felt that a player like Kadri or Johnny hockey could have pushed them over the top I would be ok with their terms. I just feel after last season they are not as close as I thought they were to win a Stanley cup.
