Don’t know. Hate it, and reminds me of the Don Maloney Years
The millennials seem to love that Jersey

I would agree with the bolded but did he get a fair shake at proving himself. I know Barry was sitting him to try teaching him a lesson and trying to get him to play a more two-way game. He's a goal-scorer. I also agree that this might be a make-or-break year for him. We'll see how Lambert utilizes him.

If he’s on the team

Against hipsters? Absolutely! Also against man-buns. The punishment should be getting their head shaved in public every month for no less than 10 years.

Pretty sure that was the milbury years. Nonetheless, you’d love that jersey if the team was good when it came out in I believe 1996. I don’t mind it, regardless of the tough times endured.

I believe It was designed in 95 under Maloney and inherited by Milbury. I agree if the team was successful the Jersey would have been more accepted. That said it was an ex Ranger and that I can’t tolerate. Today the hipsters and millennial Isles fans are the ones who like it. Problem is they won’t spend the money to buy one so it will be short lived imho.

Hopefully someone else offers him more

In all seriousness if that guy turns his nose up to that he can go scratch. I say that knowing this is most likely BS bcs I’m pretty certain nobody knows anything about what’s really going on. As an Islander fan, like I’m sure most of us, I want nothing to do with him at that price/term.

Hopefully these numbers are not accurate. You give a player like Johnny G with his age and talent 7 years all day long. I player like Kadri who will be 32 I hate the idea of giving him 7 years.

This. I don't see him bringing us a Cup. In three years we'll be female doging about this contract like we've done about Ladd, Bailey, Clutterbuck et al.

These 7 years contracts are just killers. I get the players love them but it's not good for the sport and it makes for a very boring offseason and makes it very hard to improve.

I always say it’s one of the most underrated logos and if we were good, it wouldn’t have gotten so much shît.

If Lou thinks it’s Kadri, +, and + whoever, brings us a cup then yeah whatever you figure out the rest later but yeah I don’t believe Kadri alone moves the needle enough.

They’ll have plenty of space to take on Beau after they trade Price to Vegas.

Nope. If we go into the season and that’s the only addition outside of Romanov it’s kind of like what’s the point? Why give up the first for Romanov and handcuff(potentially depending on contract)us for the foreseeable future with a Kadri contract. Not saying that’s what will happen but if it does it’s pointless. Now if it’s Kadri and whatever, legit, first line winger then it make a little more sense.
