Nope. If we go into the season and that’s the only addition outside of Romanov it’s kind of like what’s the point? Why give up the first for Romanov and handcuff(potentially depending on contract)us for the foreseeable future with a Kadri contract. Not saying that’s what will happen but if it does it’s pointless. Now if it’s Kadri and whatever, legit, first line winger then it make a little more sense.

If lambert plays him like a true bottom pairing D man and we don’t get anyone else so be it. Ideally someone with more NHL experience would be optimum if we’re really going for it. To me with this team it’s either one extreme or the other. Either you go for it. Really go for it. Not just Kadri if you know what I mean. OR you start dumping everyone for futures and rebuild. We’re teetering between the two imo.

The rumors of him taking 3, 4, or even 5 yrs were most likely unrealistic but yeah that’s when you walk away. Juice ain’t worth the squeeze. With that said the guy isn’t signed so maybe everyone is smart enough to have figured that out.
