Most. Some are still learning to be total pros & some are young & only beginning to mature & where they take it to is up to them. They don’t get it they’ll be replaced by hungrier & the more deserving. New management & coaching are all about winning not coddling.

It’s not really true it all, you just took the word leader and replaced with a word that makes a lot less sense in its place.

Giving away Bjorkstrand Patches & letting others like Neidereiter & Kubalik etc walk & Kadri the last hinge pin says volumes.
JTM is more than likely to take a shave from his ask whether it’s here or not. JR has found out it’s a buyers market in spades & will use it in negotiations .
Ideally last years finish is no mirage. 1 year older & wiser & the adds are true legit gains. Given expectations is the PO’s it’s still only year 1 of JR’s 2yr statement.
What I believe will happen…
There won’t be a sad sack PK.
Young players will bounce back & have a better 82 games.
Competition got more fierce & will be a healthy problem being F depth looks very good.
Team D will buy in & be the decider on how well the season & beyond goes.
Restocking the prospect pool will take more time but also there has been time bought for current prospects to develop. Abby & Euro players have opportunity. Still not enough elite talent but plenty of room for them to carve out a niche in the pros.

I liked the part about the PK being their biggest problem. Shows why management knowing they couldn’t get their D man went for FAs that can lower the GAA by improving PK.

The PK was solely the reason why they dug a deep hole. Ya gotta believe it’ll be better. 8th in goals against was pretty impressive given our lack of deep D talent.
