Yeah that works if there is a buyer willing to add not take futures.
The two new Russians probably can be an upgrade for those two.
Maybe that’s new management’s intentions. See how they work out. Then move Garland and Pearson. After sign JTM. - Quinn's Quest .
You'd probably get a 2nd for Garland, Pearson you'd have to add something.

You might get future considerations and you don’t really have any prospects to replace them with. Better off just riding it out. - 1970vintage
Depends on the Russians being top 6 players. Then guys like Hogs and Klimovich, if he’s ready, or an Abby stop gap guy can play middle 6. |

Hog's will barely hang on to being a 4th liner.

Garland has value and a team friendly contract, he'd net a decent pick or prospect. - VanHockeyGuy
I dunno, based on the quality of wingers that were acquired for free, I don’t see it |

It seems they have enough checking cap friendly. What am I missing? - Quinn's Quest
Over time in here you will learn that out of the 32 teams it's the Canucks and the Canucks only that have cap issues. |

I saw them last week.

Nice. Were they still good live? Big regret never seeing them live... |

With injuries he will need to shine as he's not getting any favours from Boudreau and the doghouse crowd lol
Hogs is a 'workable' third liner if he plays to potential as of right now. He's not going to magically grow 5 inches so he'll need to play to his strengths. |

It would cost the Canucks to move Knobinson or Myers. Pearson nor Hogs would fetch much. Garland may get a decent return from a GM with a halfling fetish. - Marwood
It may be that people who actually know about hockey, and it’s their job to do so, see less of a problem with this line up than you do. And that your just a baby that cries. Could be, just saying. |

So he’s a bust now after sophomore slump? Well I don’t think he’s a top 6 player. But playing middle six should be within his talents. That’s if, the Canucks trade out Pearson and Garland; as you suggested. |
