I won't comment on that but I am really glad the Blackhawks traded a 3rd round this last year to secure Dallas' 3rd rounder in 2023...

The reason a kid like Kaiser does sign with hawkish there will be more chances and less time waiting, if your stuff IS better than the competition.

You guys remember twi drafts back and I have the QMJHL prospect Wm. Dufour in my second in 2021 Draft and he lingered until slot #152 in the 5th to Islanders.
Looks like I was smarter than 32 scouting staffs that time, because he cab score.

He’s solid but unspectacular. He skates pretty well, he’s positionally sound, he moves the puck out well mostly via passes and isn’t adverse to chipping the puck out if he’s in trouble he hasn’t shown an inclination to skate the puck out very often. But the best part is he plays well enough and within his game that he hasn’t got himself into trouble. However we’ll see how he plays when Canada plays the better teams beginning with Finland tomorrow.
