Nah of course not even if he was easily the worst on his team. Complete player held back so they traded him & his 5.4m contract for peanuts.

Yet he just finished whining that if he signs and doesn't score on his first shift fans will burn his jersey.

The vibe coming out of Miller about signing here is very mixed.

I heard the Interview that’s not the context. He was talking about that regardless what is happening with contract extension he will be focused 100% on playing well. He knows the pressure in Vancouver and relishes in the challenge.

Either way it’s a contract year so no room to relax.

Carol Schram: Candid J.T. Miller opens up on podcast and weekend World Juniors schedule
J.T. Miller wants a long-term contract with Vancouver, but understands why the stars might not align that way. And the preliminary round continues for the Canucks' 3 prospects at the World Junior Championship.

He described Van fans as unreasonable and quick to turn on players no matter which way you spin it... Burning their jerseys after not scoring on the first shift.... not exactly a compliment.

What is the funniest about it is although he's exaggerating about it... it's also true that fans here are easy to turn or lash out...

Fantastic game. And I haven't watched a full CFL game for awhile.

Rourke throws into tight windows and completes most of them, he had a rough start but found his groove and the stamps didn’t have an answer, stamps have a good defence as well, I thought he would struggle in this one I was wrong lol

That detail isn’t complimentary but it was in the context of the pressure to perform. Why he said the contract won’t be a distraction.

Also his reference to teammates was indicative of how he liked the team. Selfless players play for their teammates not the fans adoration.

Not sure what you want to say about JTM. He’s going to play hard. If Canucks can find a way to fit him in their cap he will stay.

The problem with keeping Miller is that even if you manage to resign him, Bo is gone because you are not going to have the cap to sign both. And the year after next you have to resign both EP40 and Podz and even though by then Myers contract is up is not going to be enough to be able to keep them as well. Miller rightly wants a 7-8 year deal and he's only going to be viable as a 1st line player for 2 maybe 3 more years depending on injuries. This is why several of us want him traded, not that he's a horrible player, but because keeping him means that other forwards who are much younger and could end up much better than Miller will have to be moved to make room for him to be on this roster.

Benning is gone get over it.
Which opportunity?
3rd & 4th for Bjorkstrand? 28g 57pts
Miky is cheaper & cost no assets.

The fact is the stagnant cap has put more pressure on most teams.

Once again, you have completely missed the point. 👏

Both defences ended up being pretty slack for the night considering the final score. But an entertaining game front to back.

CFL will always be a second-tier league. Anyone with any skill will try to make the NFL.

Highest paid CFL player: $550k
Minimum salary for an NFL roster player: $660k

Even on an NFL practice squad you make $165k a year

It's good if you are hockey literate. I wouldn't knock Columbus, apparently they are a free agent destination. Gave up nothing for the league's 2nd leading scorer. Paid him less as well.

It was just nice to see a good game with a little excitement level. CFL has been so bad for so long with very little marquis talent and it was an enjoyable game.
