I know they still have a ton of talent but that roster is old and they have nothing coming up from the minors. It should be fascinating to watch that owner keep reshuffling coaches and GMs over the next few years.

Vegas will be like the 17/18 Sabres. Odd mix of talent with the wrong coach and no goaltending. Eichel’s true personality will push the team to miss the playoffs landing between 18-22 out of 32.

Honestly. I think it’s less. His skill and talent is still there. The major major problem is his speed isn’t the same pre neck injury. He doesn’t have that burst any more.

If he gets that back. I will agree with those prediction. If not. 70 points max

He certainly didn't look at all good last season upon his return. That said, he still produced close to 0.80ppg which if he played 82 would be 65 pts. You point is a solid one.

I think he will work his ass off this offseason to get his skill and speed back merely to prove the point he is still elite.

Will be fun to see how it shakes out.

I don't disagree, except with the projection.

He certainly didn't look at all good last season upon his return. That said, he still produced close to 0.80ppg which if he played 82 would be 65 pts. You point is a solid one.

I think he will work his ass off this offseason to get his skill and speed back merely to prove the point he is still elite.

If Eichel is potting 30 and has 90+ points, Vegas is in the hunt and Eichel is back in the discussion for superstar. This would indicate Eichel formed chemistry with some of the players on the team meaning they’ll produce career highs as well IMO.

He has not shown he can produce like that since the season before his neck injury and when he did he had the basement dwelling Sabres in the hunt before Covid.

I wanted Eichel to succeed until the last 5 games of the season he no-showed. Now I believe he can’t control his emotions, it was one thing to be dramatic about wanting a trade. To not show up on the ice when your team needs you the most while making $10 milly…..
