lucky you. I actually started appreciating that band only recently, back in the day I only had listened to them on the radio, so I wasn't aware of their repertoire, and I wasn't as opened minded musically as I am today. in retrospect I really wish I had seen them live...

the lyrics alone are worth the listen and they just fit together so well as a band. none of the stupid antics as they play. they just play the poop out of the instruments and gord live was a showman.

they always broke off on the middle of the 100th meridian and played some new songs, covers, riffs before coming back to finish the song. different every time.

they did a kick ass cover of china girl that bowie prolly would appreciate.
