Best defensive depth in the NHL, an elite goalie (when not in the playoffs) and got better at centre while worse on the wing. I think they did great for this year at the very least.

One would imagine the plan would be to play him as the 2nd line centre and hope he has a good year so they can retain salary and trade him for something good at the deadline since his deal is coming up and everybody is always looking for centremen.

Dvorak has more chances of being healthy though, but I guess that also gives him more trade value.
