I would not be shocked if they were interested in Hanifin lol that was sweeneys original target back in 2015 but he couldn’t make it happen

I dont think they will trade Lysell. He is Sweeneys last glimmer of hope when it comes to his drafting. You can have a Debrusk instead.

This is all so satisfying from a Leafs fans perspective. The Oiler fans are so high on they're overrated team. Thought they sent the Flames into a rebuild 🤣🤣 The Oilers true colors will shine this year. I have them battling for a WC. The Pacific can't be as horrendous as it was last year.

I wouldn't say we're high on our "overrated" team, I would say most of us are cautiously optimistic that our goaltending has improved, and the same team that took us to the final 4 is still intact.

We still have some work to do to get cap compliant (which probably means moving out Foegele and adding another cheaper piece), but I don't think the Oilers will be battling for a wild card spot. We'll be battling the Flames for 1st in the pacific, and if you think otherwise you are a homer. I'm guessing you are still bitter that McDavid ended up in Edmonton instead of Toronto and hasn't requested a trade "home" yet.

You should consider seeing a therapist.

THe Oilers will def be good this year, anyone thinking otherwise isn't thinking rationally.
I thought the Oilers would likely tank if they were riding Smith as a started again, but he nicely retired and gave you guys cap space. Secondly I also thought there was no way Kane would re-sign there....losing a cheap 1 mill top line winger was the difference that saved your season last year. The coaching change and Kane happened around the same time and that's when things turned around.
Finally the Oilers lost so many key pieces through the year due to injury, if they stay remotely healthy, they will be even better.

Dube on the 2nd.. I doubt it, sounds like Treliving's going after a top 6 winger, that's how Coleman gets pushed down to the 3rd line IMO
What I do like about Dube with Kadri is seeing what he can do without offensive duds like Backlund and Monahan. Same applies to Coleman
