Yup, this team needs to be a 90/91 win team - Fakepartofme
I would have hoped them improved on last season, but it doesnt feel like it...so far.
although they have almost identical record to last season at the same time.
but 88 win Atlanta won the WS last season. so I guess it does totally matter if its 88 or 91 or 95 if you make the playoffs.

Will 88 games get in you into the WC series in the AL?
Im thinking a minimum 90.
Yup.
But anyone expecting them to unload all their top prospects will be disappointed - Fakepartofme
Ohtani and Soto would likely be better than pretty much every prospect they have. They are prospects while those two guys are sure things.
Besides, as I mentioned I'd not sign Soto to the mega deal. I'd use him for a couple of playoff runs and then deal him for 80% of the value you traded for.

Elite centres are more important than elite goalies. - Zezel
Actually. Elite centremen, elite goaltending and an elite number 1 defenseman are more important than anything. Also depth all across your lineup. You also want a some vets with winning experience, but not too many, because young legs are important!

Jays are only 2.5 games ahead the orioles.
Wow did they ever blow their recent series. - Fakepartofme
it's toronto bad luck. They finally have a good baseball team and good hockey team, but both are in the hardest divisions in their respective sports. In almost any other diision, they're likely the front runner.
