I am at the game and he is very ordinary…
Of what I am seeing, he is no Sidney Crosby or Mc David…
Another Drouin… - TheInformer697041
having a bad game or even a bad tournament doesn't mean he won't have a great career, nor does having a good one guarantee he'll be a superstar. this means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe it is just because he is still too young…

He will be a very good player for the Ducks. - TheInformer697041
Well ya MacT would be better than bedard in this event. At this point in development a 19 y/o should dominate, when it's rare for an undersized 17 y/o to make this team. Wait until bedard is 19.

The need to nitpick these kids is becoming too much now - mr.peanut
yep. and when a player has been hyped for as long as bedard, every little mistake he makes will be magnified. as if 10 year vets don't blow coverage at least 5-7 times a game.

Of course. When a 10 year vet makes a rookie mistake = mistakes happen
When a rookie makes a mistake = maybe he's not ready, let's bench/scratch/send down so he can learn how to play like a pro
plus, its extremely rare when a 17 year old doesn't need to work on his defense - Gramps28
Bedard has been pretty weak in his own end. Of course he has always played with his age group and never needed to worry about it. It's also known as a 19 and 20 year old tournament
