yeah, they had a lot of powerplay time but the finns killed every penalty so far. their goalie made a pretty sick glove save earlier.

The new overtime format is as follows:
-Preliminary round games: 5-minute 3-on-3 + shootout
-Quarter-finals/semi-finals/bronze medal game: 10-minute 3-on-3 + shootout
-Gold Medal Game: 20-minute periods 3-on-3 sudden-death


I think they should've stuck with 5 on 5 for the gold medal game, but oh well, I still like this better than determining a winner with a shootout.
