The difference is basically 0.1% in the Miller argument vs 10% in the Boeser argument. So, yeah, you are right. - boonerbuck
Sorry, are you taking math lessons from Don? This is 300% incorrect. |

It’s far less of a stretch than folks constantly referring to Boeser as a 30 goal scorer. What in the (frank) - CanuckDon
I disagree. Brock hit 29 and he's 25 years old.
I'm not saying it's more of a stretch, just not less of one. |

What is also funny is it took you a minute to post this. Loving that Commodore 64?

29 goals ÷ 25 years = 30 goals

I’m quite sure all of you arguing this one point are 1% short of an IQ of 50. |

Boeser on the other hand - boonerbuck
Boeser is closer to a 40 goal scorer than he is a 30 goal score, by champ logic. |

This place is (frank)ed, everyone wanting to be an expert, tell you how smart they are...e.g. "I said last week", "I predicted this outcome", "you're an idiot", "Miller isn't worth that".
Reality is that everyone(minus me, , and a few others),are full of poop, don't have a (frank)ing clue.
Miller could be traded, could be signed, could be injured, could be the OMG...the coveted 100pt player, or the declining aging 50pt guy.
But it is comical reading all this accurate and deep intuitive understanding of how to run a hockey team... - Makita
The most comical thing about this place is it has mod's that mock people having discussions and sharing ideas regardless of how no one really knows what's going to happen. It's a forum carried by the conversations it's mods mock. "This is a hockey forum so stop talking this and that".... "You guys are a bunch of idiots" when we talk hockey.

It's actually a for profit business, so if FA could trade miller for cash he would, like Pocklington selling Gretzky to bail out his other businesses. |

Boeser had a career year and hit 29. Yes he is a perennial 30 goal scorer for the fanboys. He will never hit 30. Far better chance Miller hits 100 |

Yup, at this point I’d prefer they keep Miller, chase the playoffs and let him walk. A late first and a fringe prospect doesn’t move the needle enough. Rather enjoy some good hockey - CanuckDon
Yup, let another team commit to a huge deal. Move on.

With a team on the cusp of doing something decent if they move Miller now and set the club back another 5 years either way they can't win. It's a weird situation. Basically, they'll see what they have until TDL this coming season and go from there. Plus if a Miller trade happens and the return(s) end up being a dud...well then there that too lol. No harm in seeing what this team can do under Boudreau. - LordHumungous
He's ONE player, sure he's good. People need to get over the emotional attachment with the roster. Focus/measure the results this season.

A couple more painful years after all this time. I'm okay with that.

I doubt this next contract will be Bo's final one. He'll take a more reasonable term I think.

I think if the Russians adapt well, that could be a difference maker.
