Even next season, Adams again will have a poop ton of Cap Space to invest wisely.
After evaluating what he has this season, he should be poised to make a trade or two and a FA or two. I wouldn't see him spending on several FA's, but coloring around the edges for sure.

Do I believe the girl was raped? Yes, I 100%.

Do I think Ariza had sex with her? Yes 100%

My issue is couple things:

1) the girl told the entire party and her friend also confirmed That she said she was 18 and went to college.

So the sex with a minor. How was Ariza supposed to know that?

Then the hook up on the side of the house. She consented to.

If Ariza can prove that he wasn’t in the bedroom.

He is cleared from wrong doing.

People / fans are so quick to release the guy. His life and career are hanging in a balance right now. It can go up a very solid trajectory or can crash and burn.

He should not take the field again for anybody if and when it is determined that beyond a reasonable doubt he is guilty, then and only then.
Ruining a person's career solely over allegations by a less than highly credible person due to their admitted condition is wrong, period. She already lied about her age I'm told...not off to a stellar start. Something smells fishy.

When you say "they", can you without reasonable doubt say that Ariaza participated. No, not yet you can't.

Araiza is probably guilty of letting her go down on him after 5 or 10 minute introduction and had outdoor sex with her. My guess is 33 percent of Americans have had sex with a 17 year old and a high percentage of those were probably with women who lied about her age.

Very well said. We don't know what happened, even though it is clear he did *something*. As you said, there are a ton of these guys that have done this. This is not at all to say it is ok. I was thinking about this last night - I wonder if at some point a team will go to an accuser and ask if they are alright with the athlete playing for their team (e.g. they have somehow made ammends). Its so hard to know what the bar is. It seems that some arbitrary number of months / years needs to pass before it becomes ok for an athelete to come back.

I know too many stories of a girl banging the entire hockey team or basketball team… Let’s be real. It’s gross but this stuff happens. It was a gang bang. If she never said stop, if never said no, if she never said don’t, the only issue here ends up being her age.
