All of this within 48 hours of haack getting cut and a lawyer probably trying to reach out to the bills for a quick payday

There isn't/wasn't a case opened against him at that time though.

It's an investigation, and until he is formally charged nothing would show up.

It happens all the time, for example a coach is under investigation for abusing a kid but does his background check before he is charged, nothing shows up on his background check at that time.

Well if they expect to draft someone I would think they have the capability to do a Criminal Background Check on these guys. So if they really did look at him it wouldn't have been hard to find there was a open case file on him.
