I believe that’s the hold up with moving him. Vancouver wasn’t allowing teams to negotiate with him during FA from what was reported. Not sure if that has changed now? The problem with us is we’ll be in the same boat with trying to move salary which seems Lameriello was unable to do.

I believe it was because, at the time, they were actively still negotiating with him while shopping him just in case. Not sure if it’s a sticking point now.
