Maybe it's the grass is always greener effect but I'm over the overcooked sausage on a bun covered with peppers and fly poop that I see too often in my town.

I just love the soft top cut bun with a steamie covered in onions n mustard. Simple perfection.

That being said, toronto street dogs are among the best hot dog experience, just from a standpoint of variety and customizability

I'm not trashing Toronto's dog scene totally but there's just too much junk.

That being said ....my guy on Ossington opened up a store front on Dundas West that pretty damn good - does good fries too.

Woofdawg. Worth a look if your in the 'hood.

And Chicago dog's are over rated. They may have been a thing at one time but now it's just pure kitch and memories. I've searched that town for the best dog and there's squat. I'm probably missing some of the quaint local spots but Nathan's ..even at Wrigley ...are junk.

What Chicago is underrated for though ....Mexican. So much awesome Mexican in that town.

If it were about the dogs he'd be wearing bleu blanc et rouge.

I haven't been to a Leafs game in Montreal in quite a few years but I do remember enjoying combo platters of 2 or 3 Steamies and a beer at the Bell Centre very fondly.

You’re going to the wrong places. I spend a ton of time down there. Never had a single issue. You need to watch the cops. But it is legal and recommended to film all interactions with them. Once they see they are being filmed they usually are reasonable.

If you haven't rolled the dice on an egg salad sandwich at a 7-11 you haven't truly lived.
