There's only one pair of gloves I'm looking for.

And it's the Marian Hossa Habs gloves.

those are like unicorns... you're pretty lucky (or very high) if you find them.

congrats karine!
yeah, no problem with Gally. sure he'll become an overpaid 3rd liner, but his leadership and work ethic will compensate. not like we'll need cap space anytime soon anyway. I can live with him way more than with some of the others. no need to name them, you know who they are.

it sucks though if they lose a guy like Pezzetta through waivers because of a rather useless/frustrating anchor like Hoffman.

they shouldn't lose anyone. Sly will probably start in Laval and Byron on LITR. that leaves them with 14 forwards.

you really think so..? unless he does really poorly, the point of this season is to develop players, pretty sure it would be beneficial for the kid to play under St-Louis, knowing that this will be the main focus.

agreed, but they already have 14 forwards with NHL contracts. unless they trade one, or an injury occures... the kid will probably start in Laval. for now. which is not a bad thing. shouldn't last long though.

that's why I brought up Pezzetta going through waivers... if Slaf does well it would be ridiculous to have him start in Laval, imho. playing with the Rocket isn't a bad thing, but sending a guy down even if he played to or even above expectations is.

players will get injured at training camp, always the case so I expect Slaf to be with the team for the first game.

curious to see what Drouin will do, it's one thing to make adjustments but he still has to be able to play and do well at the NHL level.

he is one guy I expect will get injured before Xmas...but this is a contract year for him so he might be putting in the work this off season. Based on what Karine wrote the other day, he wasn't not even trying to shoot the puck in the 3 on 3 game so I expect he is not able to anymore which does not bode well for him sticking in the line up, he might be on waiver sooner than we think.

I was going more for, he one letter away from putting it in ( instead of "on") at the wrong end !

my thoughts exactly, but I'll be giving him the benefit of the doubt until I see him at the NHL level, perhaps he was being extra cautious after missing so much time, which would be understandable.
