OK cool. And the point is?
- LordHumungous

There is no point, just for reading. Pronman is a a bit of a twat but still something to read other than the same old crap regurgitated here on a daily basis.

Also, any chance I get to tell Reuby to “suck it”…I take it

It’s better than Lucky, but only slightly

I drink Coors Banquet down here, along with some great California reds, it’s cheap and it tastes good on hot days….every day is a hot day lol. 110°F the next two days, excessive heat warning out, just ridiculously hot.

Not that anyone cares…but! We’ve been doing renovations on my wife’s business as we’ve put it up for sale, we’re moving back to the island next spring to be closer to the kids, grandkids and our parents. We miss the ocean, I miss fishing in my own back yard. Selling our Scottsdale property so we can purchase a winter home near the Pacific Ocean (Southern California?) or the gulf coast. I’ve got the tuna fishing bug, man it’s a blast!

Nice, I lived on Yellow Fin & Dorado while I was in Mexico. Released any Marlin & Sailfish. Biggest Tuna I caught was 220 lbs, they fight like hell.

@Lefty

You may want to check out Baja Mexico (San Jose Del Cabo) area. Great fishing and way less $ than SoCal.

lol just flew back in from Winnipeg. How's the overall convo in here still the constant Benning crybabies or are we accepting Miller will be here on opening day?

- LordHumungous

I’m on the fence about Miller but I don’t want him signed past 5 years. It’s been crickets in here the last few days. Going to one of the young stars games so that should be good!

Thanks…I’ll check it out. Some friends of ours from here in Scottsdale just sold everything and moved to Mexico full-time. PV area. It’s just way too hot here and there’s no water, to fish in or in the Colorado river system, so we’re getting out while real estate is still high in North Scottsdale.

San Jose Del Cabo is way way better than Cabo San Lucas. Lots of other activities available as well.

Less electronic music listening partying idiots. Avoid Cabo, PV main town, Cancun, Mazatlan to avoid these types. Unfortunately Sayulita and Playa del Carmen/tulum are being taken over by them as well.

Sayulita is crazy but still boasts some really good fishing. Not sure it’s big enough for both me and Lefty though. I’m sure I’ll have a marg with Dbot when he’s here this Christmas. Look for the golf cart sporting the Flames flag when there, only classy cart in Sayulita.

Mexico as a country is one of the noisiest places on earth. Nothing for 2 locals to sit and drink with the music so loud they can’t even talk, blasting til 5 the next morning.
Our casa is right across the street from the Oxy gym, they don’t believe in headphones there, always have the speaker cranked for all to hear.
The price of paradise.

I loved Sayulita 10 years ago. Now it’s over run by idiots, tons of garbage, noise. I’ll be sticking to the Puerto Escondido/Hautulco area this winter. With some trips inland.

You’re not wrong. I’ve driven and camped along the Baja and the west coast of Mexico looking for somewhere like Sayulita. Still looking, San Poncho North of Sayulita is like Sayulita was 10 years ago but is quickly changing. I’ll continue to explore while living there, flights are cheap within Mexico, maybe something else will jump out.

Yeah San Pancho still not bad but quite expensive compared to other places. I looked at places there and was shocked at prices.

We looked there 8-10 years ago, it was affordable but we still wanted to be in Sayulita. Bought a lot and built a small casa, we’re putting the 2nd floor on this year, which should be fun.
