ahh, I see. yeah I guess it would've been kind of awkward if you were referring to a specific person you both knew, and confirming that she tastes delicious these days lol

The start of the season is just around the corner boys and girl.
This season will be exciting. Alot of young players will fill important roles sooner than later and excel at them.
We are building the road to our next championship and despite the few bumps we'll meet along the way, you can tell the future is bright!
The #Optobus is gearing up for alot of optimism this year!

I don't expect them to do much this season, but as long as we get entertaining hockey, I'm good with it.
The problem with last season was that before St-Louis was hired, they were losing and they were so boring to watch. |

Actually Ducharme said it best in his interview with The Athletic.
The problem was, this was still a team that he was putting together to try and win. And it failed miserably.
Next season is about seeing players progress, young players get a taste of the NHL of move on from older player to give space to the best of our young crop.
The only way next year is a failure, is if we don't see our future core do anything good while getting pummeled.
I'm also a big believer in not creating a loser culture where losing every game doesn't matter. They need to be able to win their fair share of games during the year. |

yeah, I think next season will be even more interesting.
the one about to start... meh, they still have a lot of dead wood on the roster.
Laval should be fun to watch though.

Odds are we are starting the year with what.... 3 rookies?
How many will we have when the season ends? 6?
I'm already excited to see what they can do.
And yeah, I'll probably watch some Laval games since we finally have interesting prospects to see.

I expect them to start with Barron, Harris and Guhle on defense. so 3.
Sly, because of the number of forwards with NHL contracts will start in Laval, but yes probably not for long and will end the season in Montreal. that's about it. |

Yeah, I also assume Slaf (Sly? Slafo? Slick?) to get a long look at camp and get a few games early on.
He'll most likely get sent down during the year unless we are all pleasantly surprised and he manages to perform in the top 6 without any hiccups.
Hughes said last spring he didn't want to have 3 rookies on defense so I expect one of Harris or Guhle to start the year in Laval but that could change really quickly.

Burrows said on the radio this morning to the gros JICÉ (god I hate that guy) that they see about 17 forwards that will be competing for a spot on the team. |

chances are the team won't be winning that many games, but the progress that the kids will make under St-Louis during the season just might help us forget about that and give us a taste of what the future holds for the habs. the #Optobus is definitely due for a little stroll |

well, they have 15 with a NHL contract. then add Sly, Ylonen...
no point in keeping the kids up if they won't play. |

I don't think he'll need to impress all that much to stick around with the habs, the focus this year is on player development, so it's a perfect opportunity for him and the team. it would be counter-productive to send him down if he does all the right things.
