Fans that want Price retired blabla rafters, greatest of his generation and HHOF intensity > Other NHL Fans that don't wear them Pricey shades intensity.

Good goalie.

Not the greatest of his generation. Who knows if he would've been less injured with a better team... he might've won 1-2-3 cups and would then be regarded as the greatest of his generation.

Not the case.

ok but when did the "greatest of his generation" thing come into the equation..? we were talking about retiring his number.

so who is set to join the Rockets from Jrs, NCAA and Europe? Assuming they don't make the Habs of course....

Guhle
Norlinder
Xhekaj
Fairbrother

Mysak
Mesar
Heineman
Simoneau

Going back to this, Mesar could play in Laval, yes...but I don't think that's a good idea. He's not ready physically.

I see him going back to Europe (not Slovakia though because he said he felt he was done there). If he really wants to stay in North America, I'd say the OHL could be a good option, the Kitchener Rangers own his CHL rights.

I do read the blogs, I didn't see this mentioned anywhere lol

but it's all good, you seem very adamant about Price not being deserving, personally he's one of the best habs players I've seen play, and I'd be really happy for the guy if he received such an honor. I'm not gonna make a big deal about it if he doesn't get it either.

To me its a hard pass for the rafters, maybe I’m currently being influenced by all the stupidness and secrecy around is (frank)ing health

but if they decide to do it, I won't loose any sleep over it, he gave us some of the best moments in the last 20 years for the Habs that’s for sure

Yeah sure but only because he has the most wins. Or don't. I don't care, he's dead to me now.

HOF should be best player of a team in an era. He fits the bill for this. Retiring a jersey should include the best players in the league in an era. Price was the best for a few years, but he only won 1 Vezina and he was nowhere to having the impact of generational players like Lemieux, Gretzky, McDavid, etc.

Heard the Habs would prefer to to keep the two Slovaks close this year, (possibly living together) worse case scenario is Laval and MTL. Who knows, I guess this will get sorted out in the next 2 months.
