lol NYI and NJ are dead for Miller people need to accept it. They aren't offering what Rutherford wants. I could see a NYR deal closer to TDL if Van is out of it. But have a feeling Boudreau will have this club competitive. |

Currently I trust JR when he says that Miller will not walk for nothing. |

You'd hope to have more teams in aside from the NYR.
CAR, COL perhaps? |

There’s also always a surprise team who overachieves and goes all in at the deadline, even if they can’t sign the player to an extension. For example, this is probably Bergeron’s last season, if the Bruins think they can make a run they might want Miller. Or maybe the bolts have someone in LTIR until the playoffs and go back to the well. |

I had a brief chat with Sutter at the pro camps here and his trainer is up on a few things. Of course Sutter won't say much about Miller lol. Pacific division is out for a Miller deal but heard some ramblings around COL and STL. Florida could be a possibility if they could make space as the Turtlechuk needs some serious help there. CLB would be out as that club is going nowhere but CAR would be interesting. That team is poised for a deep run. Not hearing anything there. Weird thing is I heard small ramblings with Philly. Since they lost out on Johnny 'regular season' Hockey they may want to take a stab at a 100 point player like Miller. That could be an interesting deal. But I do think the climate for a Miller deal has passed un til TDL. |

Shannon, Sekeres/Price and the rest of the local media keep on regurgitating it.
Then it's the TDL, if that fails let him walk in lieu of adding yet another bad long term deal. |

lol the sports media isa joke for the most part. They need sh!t to talk about and generate hits. If he walks for nothing who cares? Then it's money we can spend better elsewhere. Either way it's risk. Unless we are able to get that top 4 RHD and roster player we need to replace Miller's points there is no point. Prospects and picks are a crap shoot and rarely ever pan out to expectations. Although I would love for a Miller deal to happen and have all the prospects/picks be duds. Would be interesting to see how the champs reacted then lol |

All it really takes is an injury. Doesn't sound like Canucks want to take back cap space. Most teams that would be in on Miller are going to need time to clear some cap.
Like Philly, could make a deal with them but you are going to have to take back 3-5M in cap and most likely a forward. Canucks don't want more cap for forwards, they want space to sign defenders by the sounds of it. |

Absolutely. We saw what happened with Hughes and Petey last year. Zero distractions is needed for this club to focus.

Not sure. I've been working my ass off all summer and barely seen her. She restrung her Bass last week so I'm assuming she's still rocking it out. Our Friday night thing is still going. Just on hiatus for last couple of weeks to accommodate vacations.
I refurbed an old Denon pma 860 last weekend. What a tank. Japanese, all metal knobs and faceplate. The thing sounds fantastic. No noise whatsoever.
Oh yeah, just to keep things on topic. I'm indifferent towards the Canucks schedule. |

At the end of the day he's ONE player, albeit a very good one. Management also has to prepare for the worst case scenario.
I'm looking forward to Young Stars and less tourists in town. |

Wow good for you great piece of gear. I have a mint Denon PMA2000ivr integrated I bought used a few years back. One owner before and he barely had 500 hours on it. Brand new bought from A&B Sound Edmonton. Sounds unreal good in my secondary system. Paired up with a Denon CDR1500 CDP and Denon TU-1500RD tuner. B&W CM7 speakers in rosewood. Damn nice sounding 'little' system lol.
On the schedule the reality is we are the top most team in the western hemisphere and travel will always been issue for this club. But Garys boys sure don't help matters. Would have been nice to have a 8-10 game homestead to start the year but it is what it is. Travel times will always be an issue for this team.
Good to hear you are still doing Friday nights with your daughter.

Penticton is a beautiful spot. Still looking at Vernon for retirement but real estate there is still stupid. Condos on the water are going for 500K FFS. Houses that sold up on the Adventure Bay Hill not 5 years ago were 699K and now 1.2 mil lol
Without Miller to start the year we are residing to the fact that we can't compete with EDM or CGY. I highly doubt FA wants that. |
