Any odds on which Flyer prospect(s) suffer the first season ending injury during the first Flyers/Rangers rookie game? - daddytc
I'm excited to see Foerster after the world juniors, so....yeah probably.

Talk about beating a dead horse. This guy has admitted he was wrong on numerus occasions. Yet you keep asking him the same question week after week.

All I want to do is look for contradiction? You do it constantly. Refuse to look inside and admit how wrong you've been about pretty much everything. You want to pretend that doesn't exist and offer your newest "expert" opinion. You joined the end of a very, very long line of people who were there before you and now you want credit as if you formed the line.
You still don't realize that the moves in 21 were band aids. That wouldn't stick. I knew it then and told you so. You disagreed with me 1,00000%. LOL - MJL
I do not contradict myself constantly, that is an asinine statement! There is a difference between facing the reality of the situation in the moment and determining what should be done versus changing your mind when the situation has not changed. In the 20' off season, the Flyers were coming off a great season, coming 1 game away from the final 4. I did not feel many changes were needed in the off-season, and apparently so did Fletcher, so I was satisfied with the off-season. In 21' the Flyers were coming off a disastrous season, Covid or not, and I felt changes needed to be made to fill obvious holes. Apparently Fletcher did as well, and given his two previous off-seasons in 19' and 20', I was happy with the moves he made. Getting Ryan Ellis was NOT a band-aid, and you are foolish if you even want to come on this forum and try to state that! Getting Risto was NOT a band-aid. Getting a good backup in Martin Jones was NOT a band-aid! Signing Hayes in 2019 to 7 years was NOT a band-aid! Trading Jake for Cam was NOT a band-aid! Signing Keith Yandle to a 1 year deal to QB the power-play IS by definition a band-aid to fill the hole left by Ghost.
Its not about being wrong. At the time I was in favor of the moves and I still am. BUT NOW, TODAY, the situation has changed. The team is coming off an even worse season than in 21'. Giroux is gone. Risto turned out to be not so good in his first season. Ellis is hurt and might not play again. Couturier has had back surgery. Hayes has had 3 core surgeries. Farabee just had neck surgery. Provorov is a mess. Konecny, Sanheim, Frost and several young players coming up in the system are all meh! Thus IMO a new plan needs to be put in place, one that involves taking advantage of a deep 2023 draft to get multiple players that will significantly upgrade the talent in the Flyers system. A plan that looks at the team 3 years from now, not this coming season. Fletcher has acted differently and thus I am no longer in his corner, its really that simple!
If you, or anyone on this forum, cannot understand this, I really don't know what else to say except your hopelessly grasping at straws and more importantly, you don't have a clue to what you are talking about. |

You seem angry .. and I really don't understand why. I think you are mad because you now agree with my take on the team, and that just pisses you off. I'm sorry if we feel the same way about the present team and GM, life happens sometimes. |

Here is another contradiction. One after the other. In another post, you're thanking another poster and insinuating that you have admitted that you were wrong. Now the very next post you make, you're doubling down on the same opinions that you had that have been proven to be wrong. Yes, all of those moves are band aids. All of them. They're not moves that made them a legit Cup contender. They're just moves to try and fill holes as you often state. That's a band aid. No matter what you think of the individual players. It was the wrong choices and the wrong direction to take. Trying to patch the team and trying to trade and spend their way to contention. Even the best of GM's in the league would have difficulty accomplishing that. A clown like Fletcher has no chance. You still don't get it.
Thus IMO a new plan needs to be put in place, one that involves taking advantage of a deep 2023 draft to get multiple players that will significantly upgrade the talent in the Flyers system. A plant that looks at the team 3 years from now, not this coming season.
- jd250
Of course it's about being wrong. It's all you ever been. Including now stating that Sanheim and Konecny are meh! Shows more of a lack of knowledge that is present in every post you make. The plan that you now advocate for is the plan that the Flyers should've been using all along. Which I told you they should be years ago. Literally. You told me I was wrong.
If you, or anyone on this forum, cannot understand this, I really don't know what else to say except your hopelessly grasping at straws and more importantly, you don't have a clue to what you are talking about. - jd250
Now here you are telling someone else they don't have a clue to what they're talking about. Talk about delusional fantasy.
Here is the equivalent of your flip flopping.
You the equivalent of a passenger on the Titanic who when the ship was sinking and everyone was manning the life boats to get off. You were saying the ship is not sinking and you have trust in the captain. Then at the very end, when the entire ship except for the end of bow is under water, you "scream the boat is sinking". Then you claim superiority and ask how anyone can't understand that the ship is sinking and someone who told you it was sinking, is now grasping at straws and doesn't have a clue. Your lack of self awareness is astonishing.

I now agree with your take on the team? LMAO I've been telling you this for 3 years while you've been telling me I was wrong. Pisses me off? Hardly. It's absolutely hysterical. You don't have a take. You've never had one. Not one that was ever right. It's just at the point now where you have no choice but to get in line. The very end of the line. Last one off the ship. You trying to state that I now agree with you is shameful and shows no awareness whatsoever and no indication that you realize how wrong you've been. |

This is how irrelevant the Flyers have become. Eagles ready to start. Phil's in the playoff mix. Sixers contenders.
Flyers want the Broad Street Bullies formula in 2022. - furio16 And yet the Sillies don't draw flies. But of course they will get a wild card spot and fill their stadium while their fake fan base calls themselves the best baseball fans in the land. Clowns! FIRE CHUCK! |

Absolutely no chance but he could be a call up when the flyers luck goes into effect. I'd rather them develop while torts is here, imo. He has a track record and resource and examples of how the kids develop under his tool age. This franchise needs torts right now |

Who do you see him replacing in the top 6/9? A "skill" player does not need to toil on the fourth line, unless you think, like management thinks, they need to learn how to play "flyer hockey"
