Sam Gagner, one year, 750K to Winnipeg. really wondering if Tyler Motte will have to sign a very low $ value contract or PTO to go to a camp and parlay that to a bigger deal. |

Agreed…in the sense the both Leafs and Rangers more likely to seek picks/prospects/forward rather than swap D-men given cap constraints and D depth on both teams. Both players main issue seem to be playing time (not so much $) so swapping teams is less likely to solve that issue - Turnitaround

Likely too much salary and too little production, current and projected |

Kinda surprising that Motte hasn't signed anywhere... |

He is by far not the first and won’t be the last to require an adjustment period. That isn’t the problem. Lundqvist doesn’t see a path forward to PP TOI with Fox and Jacob Trouba manning the points while Braden Schindler surpassed him as well on the right side depth chart.

interesting about Claude Lemieux being Lundkvist's agent, when Brendan Lemieux asked to be traded, Claude facilitated that trade to Los Angeles, so they do have some history of this situation getting done - jimbro83
I dunno, without naming names, one has talent and the other one didn't. |

JT Miller re-signs with Canucks. 7 years 56 mil |

We can now end all the JT Miller trade speculation. He just signed seven-year, $56 million deal to stay in Vancouver. |

Drafted 19th overall in 2020. Ended up playing 43 games last season behind Fox and Trouba. Earned the nickname of Mini-Trouba. Looks to be the real deal so far. |

The made a huge mistake trading for OEL, thats a lot of cap hes eating.
Boeser just signed a contract extension on July 1st.
I think it depends on how they use Petterson and Miller, if both are penciled in at C then Horvat could be the odd man out. |

If Horvat is the odd man out in VAN, do you guys think the Rangers could be in play for him if they dont land Kane? |

Saw some rumors Montreal wants both Kratsov and Nils. Not sure if it’s legit or not. If it is, wonder what they would offer |

Theres really not much Id want from them, that theyd be willing to trade, other than 1st or 2nd round picks.
I like Dvorak for 3C, but theres no way I allow his contract to affect our ability to get Kane. Let alone the fact that we couldnt squeeze it in right now anyway. Caufield would be great but theres no chance in hell MTL trades him the way he closed out last season. |

Yea there is no way the rangers move Kravstov unless they get someone that can fill in the top 9. I doubt anything happens but interesting to read |

Yea I totally agree, our right side is so questionable, theres no way we trade him unless we get a RW back. Going through their roster, Hoffman sticks out as someone who could be of interest for NYR. RW, power forward, shooter, PP specialist… but hes been hampered with injuries lately, on the wrong side of 30. Not at all what the Rangers need at his cap hit.
If Krav gets traded, its in a Kane package. |
