Great signing!
Miller’s the type of player you win with. Canucks are a better team with him than without him. Agree with Nucker give him the C and trade Horvat for a young D. I here Valimaki might be available for the right price. |

No he is no dummy. The music has stopped and he grabbed a 8 million dollar retirement chair. |

Imagine being an American and choosing to stay in Canada. NHL should investigate this contract as no sane or rational person would make this choice. - CGYFlames13

It’s the going rate for a almost 100 pt player. With the announcement of the cap getting a boost in the next few years, GMs aren’t worried about that. Besides the fact that some won’t be around by then. Great 1st big move by Alvin. |

I doubt the cap will go up very much. More Covid to come and the energy crisis about to get way worse with the upcoming cap on Russian oil resulting in them turning off the taps to the G7 and the shortage will rape everyone's wallets. |

Yes it is, if you are a Cup contender. The Canucks are not, so signing a deal like this, with the weak D and lack of talent pushing up from the farm, is not smart. And will probably hold this team back big time in the long run. It might cost them Bo or Petey, only so many dollars you can waste on OEL's |

Cgyflames13 is about as far right as they come. He said he was selling his business and house in Hardisty ( kkk capital of Alberta) and moving away. Not sure where he would go? Brazil maybe ? |

Vancouver is the nice part of Canada. If it was Alberta or Ontario or Manitoba, you'd be on to something. |

Vancouver is beautiful. Unfortunately, it sits in a country that is led by socialist and communist clowns. |

Or Garland, I suppose. With this signing, we really need to move Myers and/or OEL, but we also can't seriously run a D core of Hughes, rookies and jobbers. |

I wish they were socialists! They're are opportunistic neo-liberals. As for the Liberals for decades' comment, Harper was PM from 2006-2015. I suppose the Alberta public school system has let you down, but a decade is 10 years long, so your math is a bit suspect. |
