It’s what happens when you rebuild. You accumulate a ton of assets and there just aren’t enough opportunities for them all to pan out. This team is set up for long term success. If one or 2 fall through the cracks in the process it sucks but not going to lose sleep over it. Drury proved last year with Kravstov he won’t just give them away. Unless a fair offer comes for Nils he will still be rangers property

And he is likely an injury away from seeing significant playing time

Yep, willing to give Drury the benefit of the doubt until we see what he does in this situation

Regardless of who plays left wing there is zero chance Laf doesn’t get top 6 minutes full time next year. No other #1 pick would play less. He’s the future gotta hand it over now

I imagine he'll take a bridge, doesn't have much choice. Hopefully the jersey ad's help make up some of the escrow shortfall and the cap actually does go up a little more than just $1M next year.

Rangers and Penguins having the most games I can sort of understand, but the Minnesota Wild? One of these things doesn't belong here...

Arthur Staple reporting that Rangers were offered a high second round pick at the draft for Nils Lundkvist, a non playoff team, but Rangers turned it down.

I wonder if it was from Montreal or Seattle

He also says the 2nd round pick in 2023 draft is still on table if Rangers want it, but Rangers want more

Definitely worth more than a second round pick.

How do the Habs not have any games blacked out?

Because very few Americans care about watching them. Same goes for many, many Canadians!

I thought it might be because Montreal might have its own TV Network for the Habs, kind of like the Yankees have the YES Network?
