There's a joke in here about Chev owners and blown trannys.

Enjoy your new ride. Happy Birthday as well.

Not to be the one to start the drama, but I do wonder a bit. JTM becoming the alpha, all the praise from the coach and now the big deal first.

I like horvat but miller certainly appears to be taking over the team at least optically. I wasn’t sold on hitching wagon to miller as I find his antics on the ice counterintuitive to good leadership … and honestly I thought he would get traded with the new regime. Now, I dunno. No way u can take the ‘C’ away from Bo. Feels like Bo moving on could solve cap and leadership issue … if there is a leadership issue. I missed the skate to the bench thing people keep referencing.

Can't remember the team or player OEL had to fight for Bo but I believe it was Garland that got ran by the boards on a dirty play where Bo watched it all then skated right to the bench. OEL stepped up for his teammate which was good to see. Don't expect Bo to fight much but that was a time where it was needed. Was pretty embarrassing.

Fight in the room, not on the ice. The Canuck way.

Man I miss Bieska as the room tough guy. He would have these clowns straightened out in no time...

I see. Well I guess that’s another way of interpreting his on ice emotions.

Though he still is regarded as one of the leaders for his contributions. I guess the limitations you pointed out erases any doubt that Bo’s the Captain.

What Management said taking over has been evaluated to formulate a different off season plan then originally expected. This also might be to make sure EP40 signs long term too.

Surely now they will extend Bo to go with a signature C group. One with good wingers and the Russians as well.

So top goaltending, strength at C, with great wingers and a couple good D seems to be enough for management to keep building out.

I mean I’ll give miller credit, he has matured greatly since his NYR time. So really no reason he can’t eliminate that pouting … he has the track record. Credit to him for backing up all the lip service of wanting to stay here too. I mean, there are easier places to play hockey … and win.

But yes, that’s what I was talking about. It may just be a symptom of caring so much, but when he doesn’t get the puck on the pp … multiple times I’ve seen him flail about like a minor hockey player … whipping his head back like omg when another player turns it over. Just not a good look.

You know the motors seize at 315k on an Avalanche, don't you?

Lol

Well I figure there is some risk but I’ll give it a run to FSJ & back & put on 2k km. Throw on the OBD2 reader before & after & see what gives. For $6200 it’s main use will be brush removal when I window the bottom of trees & haul away as well as materials for a retaining wall. Always have our awd Audi for the winter if the truck needs service.

JTM is a leader on the Canucks no question. That doesn’t mean Bo is less of a Captain or that there are ego issues between them.

Bieksa was a clique guy... he and Kesler. They were criticized for their room snobbery by team mates. They both were over rated leaders by fans.

Well done as usual Carol.

Good to see Miller back and with a great attitude to where this club is heading.

He sees it.
