Honestly, that’s what a I thought going into last year. It didn’t pan out. Maybe guys like Höglander figure it out. I think what Booner is saying about strength on the wing is likely true. Sure, there are a good number of “top 9” wingers, but most of them need to be put in offensive situations to be effective and there are only so many of those situations in a game to go around. If some of these guys can’t contribute heavy defensive minutes and put a few points on the board it will be more of the same.

Some will be disappointed when Pearson plays 17 minutes a night, because he actually knows how to play defensively.

I think Hoglander has it in him as well, to make an excellent top 10 forward group.

Miller Bo Pouty and perennial 30 goal scorer Brock all getting 30, Podkolzin, Mikheyev, Garland getting 20 and Pearson Kuzmenko and Hoglander getting 18, makes for a potent top 10.
With Rathbone contributing 30 points, this team has to be considered a serious cup contender.

Yeah, he won’t be on the 4th line that’s for sure.

Goals galore. Team should lead the league in 20 goal scorers.

If he plays all 45 with Hughes that’s certainly possible.

Seems like a bit of a bully, don’t think he will fit in.

Got a chuckle out of him laying the lumber on the kid in the crease at the start.

Yikes.

Why? Is this not a balanced scoring threat to keep 3 high talent centers among the choice of wingers?

Ya couldn't make out the numbers but I think it's actually Hughes, Nils, and Garly having a spin with him

Howdy,

I hope J.T. Miller is enjoying these last few days with the family in Pittsburgh before he makes his way to Vancouver this weekend.

With no news around him, I finally got a chance to break down the second half of the schedule for the new season!
