If he scores 5-10 points more as a 3rd line center, he is being paid league average for that role. If he turns out better, Habs have a steal. If he stays the same, it is a slight overpayment.

So more of a win for the Habs IMO.

The logjam at center is a good thing, IMHO... well will be if they can get rid of 1 or 2 wingers before the season starts.
