It was funny to see EJ throw an out pattern 10 yards out of bounds into the fans and about 10 yards too long at Training Camp. Like, wtf was that!

But, the most interesting was watching JP Losman throw 10 yard crossing pattern about 7 yards short, while nailing 50 yard bombs in stride to Peerless Price.

True enough. I just want those decisions back.

I agree, it seems the Pegula's found another way to hurt there team. Bad decisions compounded by bad decisions.

From the article:

Biggest potential surprise

Although Quinn was a higher selection than Peterka in the 2020 NHL Draft (No. 8 vs. No. 34), it's possible that Peterka could be better right now. Michael Peca, an assistant coach for Rochester in the American Hockey League, called Peterka a "unicorn" this summer for his unique talent and the type of player he could become. Peterka is coming off a season in which he led all AHL rookies in scoring with 68 points (28 goals, 40 assists) in 70 games.

Does JJ have the potential to bump Mitts or Skinner down at some point this season?

Edit:

This is a soft bottom 10 lineup in the league still:

Jeff Skinner -- Tage Thompson -- Victor Olofsson

Peyton Krebs -- Casey Mittelstadt -- Alex Tuch

Rasmus Asplund -- Dylan Cozens -- Jack Quinn

JJ Peterka -- Zemgus Girgensons -- Kyle Okposo

Mattias Samuelsson -- Rasmus Dahlin

Owen Power -- Ilya Lyubushkin

Jacob Bryson -- Henri Jokiharju

Samuelsson hopefully gets more comfortable, the guy can bring the Hammer, there's some nasty there that hasn't come out. Lyubushkin can drop the Hammer. They might not have the knuckle dragger but I don't think they will be as soft as people think. Young kids need to take that next step, and yes I think JJ can knock some players down the chart.

The current lineup has the 1st line RW as the only power forward, and 2 of the top 4 dman are the tough guys....the theme of this roster is stranger things and management lives in the upside down.

Cozens has to take that step, JJ doesn't mind mucking it up. They have young players that can grow into more of that. They just need to keep developing and growing as players

Super soft bottom 10 with girgensons..... 🤔

Imagine how soft this team would be without gus.

Double shift asplund, that should solve it 😀

Every kid we have needs to keep progressing and developing.

Without an elite forward. Our goal should be to become the Carolina Hurricanes. (Before the burns and pacheretty trades) They really don’t have an elite stud.

It’s a bunch of good players and good depth

EJ was horrible. No coaching could fix that garbage.

Lol. That is going to be impossible. The Sabres could have vaselesky and not get those results.

what is going to take to get into the Playoffs......

#1, Jobu and Chicken bones for starters.
#2, Middlefat, needs to actually do something this year.
#3 I agree with Comrie. If he plays at a .915+ S.P we will win a lot of games
#4 Tage has to get at least 30 goals & Skinner has to be 25-30. I really think that line of Tuch-the tall-skin could account for 100 goals this year.

Girgensons isn't good enough for the Sabres team, trade him for a 2nd at the deadline to a playoff bound team.

Playoff bound team will use gus in the playoffs though 🤔
