Meh, I likes what I likes. And I was joking. There was a lot of great music in the 80s just like there’s great music every era. I was never a fan of big hair music though. - Canada Cup

How about yourself? - Dozzer
All good. Coping with the stress of retirement. Trying to figure out if the pace of my body falling apart is accelerating. (Trending to yes). Just had a nice little trip with my kid and his gf to PEI. And lots of chill |

Sweet!! My gf and I are planning to go there within a couple weeks ourselves since we have a place just outside of Alberton.
I haven’t retired but was tossed back onto disability very quickly when I tried to work once more and my seizures picked up again. I’m getting tossed back into the epilepsy ward sometime in the new year for weeks again and they’re leaning towards a second lobectomy. Yay.
Anyways because of that I do get the body pace thing… how hard can I safely push myself will always be a question.
Where abouts did you go in PEI? |

Back the (frank) off. Glenn Miller and his trombone single-handedly defeated the Nazis and kept us free. He died tragically so we could eventually rock and roll but not before he recorded songs like Chattanooga Choo Choo and Pennsylvania 6-500; songs that have never been replicated. |

Wouldn’t a trombonist need both hands to play/defeat the Nazis? |

Sorry to hear that but (frank) it and just go at the pace your body gives you. You don’t have to prove anything so have some fun.
We were between Malpaque and Cavendish, just above Kensington which looks to be directly across Malpeque Bay from where you’re going. Loved the visit. If you’re into it, there’s a sea kayaking spot in Malpeque. It’s very low key. I tore a tendon in my shoulder earlier and told him I wasn’t into a big adventure and it wasn’t. He has a range of tours. Ours was two hours and we came in a bit early when my shoulder tired.
Loved PEI. Very low key. You’ll have a blast |

I’ll look into that kayaking and we have a couple ourselves since our place is on Pitt Island Road with a private beach right on Hills River. Tbh tho I’m a little tentative to do something like because it wouldn’t be pretty if I had a seizure while doing so. Oh well, sitting back on the beach in a chair with a beer (thankfully proven to be a non issue for me lol) seems more than okay.
As for where you were yes that is pretty close… about halfway between Charlottetown and where our place is. Looking forward to getting out there since due to Covid it has been a couple years now. A very low key place is exactly what I want. Glad to hear you loved it too. |

Yes and no… gives me a motivation as well tbh, I can do some things again… for instance playing music… jamming again tomorrow night… first time since we played a private party in July lol… at our age the band simply does not come first anymore lol… makes it an even better time to spend with old friends tho |
