anti-Apple? lol

I've never liked their interface on the Mac or iPhone but they probably do have their advantages, I'm just used to working with Android and Windows.

The only Apple product I'm not a fan of is the iPad. Especially the new gen ones.

But I also dislike windows comps too

I despised Windows 8 but 10 isn't too shabby imho. I haven't had any serious issues at least so far, and I've been using it for a while so it's a decent OS in my books.

I find their laptops only offer decent performance for 2 years tops, because the long meaningless updates bog them down. And how updates seemingly uninstall connected printers

do you mean Microsoft laptops specifically, or any laptop that runs Windows?

Any. I have owned or used for work quite a few and it seems like they don't hold up.

However, manufacturers do cheap out to cut costs and that msy hinder the experience. No complaints about W10 on desktop tho

The last windows laptop i bought (HP) in 2014 came with 8.1 and despite the tiles, really enjoyed it. Took advantage of the free 10 upgrade and it still runs (still works, but might upgrade) but it was never the same after.

Acer should just stick to android tablets and Chromebooks. Their cheap plastic (labeled affordable) laptops can't handle windowx at all

you're just saying that because it has difficulty running specific apps such as MyGroinIsSoTender, which are full of human and computer diseases.

not offensive at all Pete, but if you don't want to use any of the suggestions that are given to you to translate the text then I don't understand why you would keep using it... anyway I guess I'll just ignore it and carry on

I have watched the first 3 episodes... here is what I think (cause I never have an opinion, so I will start now).

1/ It (frank)ing looks amazing, visually one of the most perfect things I have ever seen on screen (the real and the CGI).

2/ The first episode is slow, because it is so much set up.

3/ The acting is really good, even when the story is a little slow at times

I dig it big time.

Also (frank) the haters who say it does not follow Tolkien 100% or that there are (insert colour) characters.

I think it is really good, but you might be a little lost if you do nto know some of the lore... on the other hand, if you know nothing, you might enjoy it more as you are not stuck on how some things that you think "should" be different.

yeah I can't contradict any of the Tolkien "purists" since I haven't read any of the books, but I thought the acting so far has been top-notch, and the storyline was built well enough so that I get invested and want to know what happens in the next episode.

that's what I'm saying, we seem to have very different perspectives, but that's fine. Let me know if you think there's anything major that I've been missing in your opinion...
