Banes way more noticeable than Klimovich.... who was invisible after the 1st.

Slivos(my mind always wants to say Silvos) looking solid positionally all the time.

Pre game show was pumping the tires of the Flames group. They sucked.

How was that Russian dman 7th rounder, I heard a few good things on him tonight

I couldn't watch the highlights because I haven't watched the game yet, a buddy is coming over on Sunday to watch it with me, I heard there was controversy. I'll get back to you after I watch the final game.

Good job Canucks

Next two games will be harder. Those teams have much better prospects than tonights team. Watched a period and a half, saw no goals. Just glad to see some hockey again.

Forgot Klimivich was even playing, Nielsen has some talent but is another Smurf so he might fit in. Bains definitely the best Canuck out there, has a real talent for the net.
Flames penalty kill should have had a couple but Silivos stood tall. Sloppy 3rd and Canucks jumped all over the Flames.

Carol what did you think of 6-8” Klapko? Thought he skated well for a big guy and should make an interesting main camp addition.

I don't know, he was all over the place. D take longer to develop, still only 22. He needs to have a big year in Abbotsford.

The Capitals are believed to be among the teams that have shown some interest in free agent winger Jake Virtanen

I don’t believe this is true. There are half as many jobs for defenders as there are for forwards, basically weeding out all but the very best. It’s the same for goalies. They “take longer” because there are only 64 jobs available.

There are rare occurrences where a player finally figured it out at 24/25 and makes the show, but generally speaking, if he can’t hold his own yet in the AHL, he’s not likely to ever contribute at the NHL.

Fair enough, then he's leaning on bust.

Going to the Game vs the Jets tomorrow.
I figured they haven’t traded away as many draft picks as the Alberta teams.
