I mean sure, he'll have a ton of money but a lot of signings need to complimentary happen. MiB is been listing out the prospects so 3-4 impact guys coming up at most otherwise there's going to need to be some acquiring to do, starting with a #1 goalie.

Well at least there will be a lot of movement the next few years. Shiny new toys are always fun.

I haven’t written off either goalie yet but he’s not stuck with either one long term. His biggest advantage is his flexibility. Everyone except Calle (frank)ing Jarnrok and his $2.1M contract is coming off the books as his core comes up for renewal. Everything he does is geared towards being able to resign the big boys and putting the pieces around them to make them want to stay. He’ll have $ and some good young players to do that

What kyle has in cap space now for 2024/25 wont be what he actually will have. Players will be signed through and past those seasons from now until then.
Now if the cap goes up by a lot like some think, then he'll have more to play with, however, as the cap goes up so will low to mid range players salaries as well.

Yes, I get that he won’t have a 5 player roster. But things have been structured to provide flexibility as he gets closer to Matthews contract extension. He will be careful with that flexibility. That’s the point

Apparently PK only wanted to go to the Habs or Leafs.

Once those opportunities left he wanted to retire.

The team is the entire organization including their sponsors. So if you support them you support the entire org.
