From everything I've seen when he has an audience he is simply annoying AF and his ego takes over. I just can't erase the vision of him running around with his phone video taping players after they won (Olympics maybe) screaming "hey hey hey it's the Subby Cam" and guys trying to not tell him to go F off.

If he ends up on HNIC (which he will) I sure hope he checks his ego at the door - but I doubt it. That being said, he can't be any worse than George Snuffalufagus was in his stupid Joker style tight purple suits....what a failure that experiment was for HNIC.

Ron can go too as far as I'm concerned - I don't tune into HNIC to hear him preach and ramble and defend bad offiicating at every opportunity.

Oh for sure!

He's the friend you want to go party with becaues he's so wild but you only want to do it once every 4 months or so and by the end of that one night your so sick of him you swear never again.

Until 4 months later and you forget the bad and remember the good and then rinse and repeat.

I've always thought that letting players ripen in Euro leagues is a decent way to go. Especially goalies. you can draft them, you keep them a couple of years before they can go back in the draft (you don't have that NCAA rule that they become instant FAs). so they're not taking up a contract spot towards the limits. The're playing with men. Etc.

I wish they'd "store" more players out there.

Seems to be a purpose to him being a lame duck this year. Do or Die.

It shouldn't surprise us I guess - he's about to be the longest serving Leafs GM since Cliff Fletcher (25 yrs ago).
