From the Daily Faceoff - Ranking each team’s goalie tandem:
27. Vegas Golden Knights: Logan Thompson & Adin Hill
The Vegas tandem is probably the hardest to rank purely due to inexperience…
Canucks rolled in at 11, behind Calgary and ahead of Edmonton and LA. |

so once again, it's our 4th line that is holding us back from being a true contender.

From Sportsnet… One training camp related question for every NHL team.
Vancouver Canucks: How do the three Russians start off?
Vasily Podkolzin returns for Year 2 with the Canucks, and the 2019 10th overall pick will look to build on his 26-point rookie season. He showed the variety of tools he has last season, and got better as the year went along — but is he a top-six player right now? Newly arrived Ilya Mikheyev is an established NHLer with a two-way presence and elite speed, the latter of which was sorely needed in this lineup. But, like Podkolzin, does he have the offensive pop to hang in the top-six, or will he be a third-line staple? And then where does Andrei Kuzmenko, the KHL's second-highest scorer last season, fit in? Will he make the team out of camp?
What are people’s expectation for the Russians? - bloatedmosquito
I mean the most significant thing the new regime has done is set up these russkies to succeed (Podz, Kuz). Through lack of signings/trades ... they've avoided any competition for them and brought in a 'vet' to help them transition to the North American game and life.
So I have pretty high expectations. They should either hit the ground or at least not take as long to adjust. If they struggle, it won't be a good look and management will likely take a lot of early heat given this is the only real change they've made. If nucks overall do well ... management deserves high praise for being patient and identifying a good core that had a bad year / coaching style. I've already expressed my skepticism that end of year results will be much different ... but I hope to be surprised!
Think the russkies play together to start ... or can none play centre?

They all play RW, though not a huge deal to flip to the other side. |

The latter 3 have sort of proven they are not an improvement. A rotation of the first 4 if they can find chemistry. |

Thought Dowling was ok last year when he was in. It won’t matter, the 4th line won’t play much. |

Just saying that the trio of Russians aren’t likely to line up together, as none play C and they are all listed as RW. But with Boeser and Garland also R, somebody will have to play the other side, which isn’t really a big deal. |

They shouldn't but you need guys that can be impactful in that time more often than not. Last couple seasons it's been not. |

They will move a RW in the Ethan Bear trade. |

According to cap friendly Kuzmenko is LW, Mikheyev is LW/RW, and Podz is RW. |

Yeah, it was just something Paterson or Drance tweeted about what you were talking about from the media availability this morning. We shall see what Bruce is thinking with the lines tomorrow. He said he wanted to try out on day 1.
I've been waiting for NH to piece together all Bruce's thoughts today for projected line up. |

i'm no nighthawk, more of a morning person these days...
But i'd wager the lineup will look something like...
Garland—Miller—Boeser
Kuzmenko—Pettersson—Mikheyev
Pearson—Horvat—Podkolzin
Joshua—Lazar—Richardinson
Ekman-Larsson—Hughes
Rathbone—Myers
Dermott—Poolman |

Yours is pretty close to what iMac. (See above)
I have tough time seeing Rathbone-Myers pairing working. |
