Doughty will be in once he retires. Which will be a while still. Chara will be in first ballot. Price won’t be up for a while either because there is no way he’s retiring and leaving 40 mil on the table. He will be ltir for the next few years.

I got some bad news for you... 2 cups, norris trophy, over 1000 games and getting close to 600 points. If he isn't already in the HHOF.. He is certainly close. If he ends up being a big part of another playoff run or 2 with these young guys he is a lock.

Agreed, I think the Islanders have made some nice picks in the last few years with as you said a lack of 1st round picks.

Honest question. Should we be excited that a 1st rd pick might make it as a bottom 6 forward? Is that the goal of 1st rd picks? I'm not saying he can't make it as a top 6 just feels like we should be expecting more out of our 1st rd picks, No?

Coyotes forward Andrew Ladd did not pass his physical & will go on LTIR. His thrice surgically repaired knee is still an issue.
Per terms of the trade that brought him to AZ last summer, the Coyotes will get the conditional 2023 3rd-round pick they acquired from the Islanders.

I think it's fair to expect more Vukota. In terms of drafting, David Conte was a big key to Lou with the Devils like Jimmy D with Bill Torrey and the Islanders. I'm not sure we are allowed to question drafting or player development though?
