Tage was their 3rd option to try at C last year. Really think they should have waited longer to try that, just to see an old man struggle at C again? - Lunaion
28 is an old man?
Fortunately team oriented guys like girgensons, play where the coach sees fit.
Selfless player , perfect 4C.
Coach just needed to whisper a bit louder apparently
Donnie probably coached the guy all off season....
Little whisper here, little whisper there..... |

These posts make 0 sense.
Girgensons cant play here on an 80- 85 point team
Girgensons would be perfect for a contender to acquire.
It's too early to be drinking uncle ion.... - Boss34
Ya just need to think it through.
Is Buffalo a contender?
Can Buffalo afford to waste 14 minutes a night, or should they try to score 60 minutes a night.
It ain't hard.
Will enjoy a bourbon later tonight. |

bills 45

The bills defense is way way too banged up
Tyreek hill and waddle will be able to do what ever they want vs our secondary |

It's all relative. Girgs was an old man past his prime at 22.
He's a decent 4LW. Use him any more than that and you're hurting the team.

Johnson and Hamlin have both been in the system learning behind Hyde and Poyer for 3yrs. If are Dline blows it up it might not be that bad. Some of are backups would start on other teams. |

It is harsh, but fair and balanced.
I said the 4C is perfect for him this season...largely cause there isn't any better options though.
Previously, I did post that him being traded to a contender would be the right thing to do in recognition of his time served...kinda like dismissing the rest of his sentence for good behaivor.
Anytime he contributes anything offensively related is a positive. The sooner he is pushed out of the lineup, the better, as it means the potential for improvement is real. - IonSabres
If he’s bad why exactly would a contender want him?
My issue with him is he should be a lot more physical for a 6’2 fourth liner. |

My fear is a big game changing pass interference call on one of the rookie CB’s late in this game.
Especially on a Tua underthrow |

Yep, if the Dline can disrupt there Offense it should take some of the pressure off. Bills can't overpersue |

Girgs would indeed be perfect for a contender to acquire.
On a 4th line for a team of that quality, the need to waste 14 minutes a night with possession that results in nothing but time chewed off the clock is in fact an asset for winning. No doubt.
That is what I mean by wasting 14 minutes a night.
Let's face facts, in a tie game or down 1 needing a goal in the last 10 minutes, I doubt he sees 30 seconds of time on a contender.
And for the writer to cite team success in the last 22 games, in which he produced 1 goal in a winning effort is laughable at best. That is the original point made, and it stands on its own. - IonSabres
Yeah idk the LOG line in it’s prime was one of the best possession lines in the league. If your top 6 is scoring and your shutdown line allows you to shutdown the other teams top players, that is extremely important in my opinion.

I think are RB's will have 3TD's between them, they blitz so much Cook should be able to rip of a few, and Singletary already started it of. |
