I'd say so, but it's still a big change from Jason Nightingale to a true analytics group that influences their decisions. Credit to KA or Karmanos...leaning towards Karmanos on that one.
- Lunaion

Of course its karmanos and not KA that deserves the credit and contract extension.

It's getting harder to explain KA's Success away ......

No doubt, when the playoffs are a distant thought in November again this year let's give him a raise. I mean, do they think he was going to get poached by another organization? We couldn't wait to see if this season ends before the calendar turns like the last 10 have?

All that said, maybe Eric Comrie will have us in the playoffs. Maybe we'll be better than 22nd in the NHL in goals scored. Or, maybe all the good vibes leave within two months because we can't stop pucks or score them. But, at least we've locked up Adams, so we got that going for us.

That run late last year has a very serious danger of being fool's gold. First of all, that pace is largely unsustainable over an 82-game season. Secondly, despite that, they still finished nearly 30 points out of a playoff spot.

I've long held that if every major piece/prospect on this team meets expectations, which is a giant "if", you have a ceiling of a perennial Wild Card team. Sure, you'll be in the playoffs every year, maybe even back your way into the Conference Finals one year because the stars aligned, but a championship is never truly in the cards. Yes, I realize they have guys like Dahlin and Power on the back end, but even that just tells me your aiming to be the Nashville Predators of the mid-2000s, with Shea Weber and Ryan Suter: interesting to talk about every once in a while, but the entire body of work is largely underwhelming. I realize that a ten-year playoff drought will cause many to say "I'll take it", but I'm the opposite. If you're going to go a decade of missing the playoffs, and then decide to essentially take half of another one before you're going to do anything of real substance, the reward better be great, not just good.

Well, in the interim 4 more years before we're allowed to compete, can we stop treating our fans like dirt? Kevin Adams also runs the worst arena in the NHL sans Arizona and tries to cover it up with a new gay pride night every season or some other useless gimmick. How about going back to when the organization cared and printing out a real season ticket book for your season ticket holders who want them? The bottom-of-the-barrel, Ticketmaster generic ticket they make us beg for is as insulting as the team's record every year.

Do better. Expect more. Stop being losers.

Unfortunately their two lottery wins in Power and Dahlin probably aren't Matthews style game changers. Nothing they can do about that now because they're probably too good to contend for Bedard. No one would have the stomach to tear it down again.

They'll have to make smart trades and find elite talent in other places than the top of the first round

About 8- 10 years ago the Sabres provided really nice hard copy tickets with the team emblems ect.

They charged me $20 per ticket for my lower pair to have them printed.
I give them to employees and friends ect
Nice to actually have hard copy tickets in the Chrismas card. Even the cheap printed tickets....

If you opt for the printed tickets, you forego the new exchange program. The exchange program allows sth to trade games for equal valued games later in the season.

I've been told that playing girgensons will lead to Bedard?

Please clarify

Really? That's dumb. In today's day and age of databases and barcodes, there's no reason for that to be a thing. This organization is so behind the times in just about everything it does.

I remember the tickets from years ago. You can trace the steady decline down. They used to have the beautiful tickets with pictures of players in game or fans, etc on them, then the team emblems, then they went to black and white team logos iirc, and now bottom of the barrel crap. The guy I split with has had seasons for 20 years now (formerly 300-level, now 111). It's been a steady downward trend we've talked about.

To be fair, that coincided with the beginning of the digital/mobile ticket era, and just about every team in every sport wasn't going to spend money on that. If you're going to charge extra for hard versions of tickets, so be it, but at least keep a database of the barcode so that they're still easily transferable or exchanged if need be. It's not that difficult with the right infrastructure.

Absolutely. They accept the bare minimum and force it onto us. I'll pay the extra whatever for a ticket.

Kevyn flat out admitted that prior to this season, players didn't want to come here. So.. yay?

Adams also pooped on Eichel in that video saying the locker room was finally cleaned up

Then today the Sabres post another video and granato rips into Eichel again. About slamming your stick and breaking water bottles.

Kinda funny to notice the small digs at him and how he was the trouble child

Hilarious 😆😂😆😂

Kevyn Adams said he wasn't uncomfortable with Ben Bishop working for the Stars while on the Sabres' salary cap. Adams and Jim Nill spoke about Bishop's situation at the time of the trade.

To be fair. The Sabres don’t actually want you to have physical tickets anymore.

My uncle who has had season tickets for years. Basically demanded he gets physical tickets

So it makes sense why they are so plain

Well it makes sense. You moved on from a guy who was supposed to be your franchise player and tore the thing down. You've got to justify it somehow.

This is the Bruins and Kings model. It's been done before and it can be done again. They need to depend on an intelligent department instead of fall ass first into Matthew McBedard

The basis of my argument hinged on the fact that Adams knew about this arrangement prior to the trade. It's my fault to assume Jim Nill wasn't withholding information.

It's strange, paying an extra $20 per ticket for hard copy, maybe they dont want double street sales?

The exchange is such a good idea, they are sending out the rest of the details soon.

I'll probably punt some of the pre Christmas/ bills still playing games for march.

Roll the dice..

They still need to be traded for equal levels.

Re-upped all 10 tickets. Pricey, but after selling my single Bill's ticket for $552.

Jackpot johnny if the Sabres are good ...
