And then (hopefully a few more years down the road) #37. It will be nice to add a couple more Bruins to the HHOF as well. |

33 will be a great addition to the rafters. - dothedougie
And an automatic for the HHOF when he's eligible... |

Chara and (eventually) Bergeron will both no doubt be in there. |

Agreed. Perhaps it will raise the standards for getting up there. No disrespect to Middleton but, I think that one is a little soft. |

I know he was good, but I've heard a lot folks who watched say that one was borderline.

Come on, if for no other reason he was a Bruin who won the Lady Byng.
Until Marchy, he owned the short-handed goal record. Still holds the Bruins single season points record for a RW. 40+ goals five straight seasons including a 51 goal season. 33 points in 17 games in a single post season. Just shy of a point per game for his career. |

He had his career cut short as well. Had to retire when he was around 32 I think. Concussion from a puck to the temple in a practice.

Well those two are night and day so mentioning them same sentence seems kinda silly.
Multiple years > 100 pts
> 400 goals.
Close to a point/game (0.983) over his career. How many Bruins have done that?

And technically, he's over a point/game as a Bruin. Take out his first two years with the Rangers and he has 898 points in 881 games as a Bruin. |

Zboril played pretty strong last night. Liked what i saw. That is good news.
Lysell looked good on the power play and had some nice little plays but wasn't all that noticeable throughout the game. The skill is there. I do hope he starts with Patrice and Zacha. |

Yeah, 25+ minutes...probably more than he has ever played in a pro game. |

I've read several articles saying he took this offseason and his ACL recovery seriously. Which is encouraging. They need him. |

Greer looked great last night. Decent size with lots of energy and a scoring touch. Stud played well too. Frederic could find himself odd man out. |

Loved Greer's game last night. Also Stralman looked steady. Not going to light the world on fire, but makes good decisions with the puck.

Going to be interesting to see who cracks the team this year. A lot of competition and young kids looking for a spot.
Stralman did look steady. Want to see a few more games out of him. I hope they play him throughout the preseason. If he can continue that play, and sign for cheap, then it might be just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully then they can ditch one of the other, higher paid contracts on the back end (ideally reilly or gryz) for spare change. |
