Rangers fan here from mid 60s living in Pa last 40 yrs. Season tix holder in blue seats when tix were $4 per seat.Still diehard Rangers fan. Always had Center Ice to follow blueshirts but last yr had ESPN + as was afraid CI wouldn't have all games. Anyone have an opinion on which is better? Dont want to miss a game. Thanks in advance - hfc355

I'm outside the philly area and to watch every game i have ESPN+/Hulu as well as a cable subscription that covers the cable broadcast games (nhl network, tnt, etc)
Sucks having to carry so much but i dont think ESPN+ allows me to get the broadcast games (need to try again this year). Hockey is the only reason i still have a cable tv subscription. I know i can stream from other sites but ever since lazyman went down, i just dont want to run a video through a web browser etc. |

Does Center Ice do all games as long as you are out of market or would you still need ESPN + for some games? |

I have used Center Ice. My buddy amd I split it, so it's only $75 a year. It has almost every game. You just won't always have a choice which network coverage you get. I have gotten blacked out when NY is in my area (Buffalo/Toronto).
Now, I have a couple Firesticks with an app that gives me like every sports channel there is. So, I think I'm covered! |

unfortunately i think with all the exclusivity on broadcasts you're F'd either way. I remember CI blocking out national broadcast games (NBSCN, NHLNet) so i missed games until i upgraded cable plans years back.
As of now, i just want to stream everything because i like being able to watch on the go, or laying in bed. Being able to put the playoffs on my phone got my 3yo into hockey this spring because we'd lay in bed after reading him a bedtime story and watch a few minutes. He was upset for weeks when the Rangers were eliminated because there was no hockey on daddy's phone anymore |

Jeez, I couldn't even say how many times!
4 maybe.
Sometimes the discussion descends to where a certain level of derision might be called for. For the most part, I take my lumps and stand by my opinions. Besides, Tanner doesn't write here anymore!! |

Gonna look at this from a different angle...
The powerplay for the last 2 years has been quite good. It has been comprised of a combination of the top 2 lines and Fox. Keeping that formula together denies Lafreniere powerplay time and keeps him on the kid line for now. From a coaches perspective Gallant can role that line with confidence after either we have scored a PP goal or held the puck and wore out the other teams better defenders for 2 minutes.
If the kid lines plays with the same vigor it did in the postseason I can see quite a few time where they come out, after the powerplay and dominate possession. |

I do have cable so last yr didnt miss a game using espn+. Local blackout Rangers/Flyers game get on Comcast just turn sound down...like CI better because easier to flip to other games between periods and this yr it's cheaper. Just not sure if ESPN+ has exclusive rights to some games |

I could care less about pre season line ups. I'm still mad about him being benched in the final game last year |

Guys just need to stop worrying about our first line RW. Whoever is there to start camp or even the season is simply a placeholder for the incoming Patrick Kane. |
