I think so as well. - PatC80
Feel like Robertson is getting downplayed by most people these days.
He's only just turned 21 and was excellent to end last season with the Marlies, once he finally got healthy.
If he can overcome his injury bad luck, he'll be a very good player for either the Leafs or the Yotes in a Chychrun trade. |

I could see him being moved in a deal for Chychrun.. I'm not downplaying Little Nicky or his potential.. I just think the Knies and Niemela should be ranked higher than him |

Only three I know of as I've been watching for them. Most of the rest aren't talking or their agent is trying to spin it. - BINGO!
Yeah, I've not overly paid any attention to it. Mostly just read about it here and sometimes on the Twitter.
Probably not a good thing that I use some of you guys on here as my news source, though. |

Bring him back for playoffs.
He’s done - bryant
In theory, it sounds great to just put Muzzin on LTIR, and bring him back for the playoffs.
But ask yourself: how rusty would he be?
If we don't want to get in trouble with the league, you'd only be able to get him practicing with the team for about 14 weeks before the playoffs start. |

I love the prospect of Niemela being big for the Leafs, but at this stage, I have more faith in Robertson.
Because regardless of anything else, Robertson has a deadly shot and can score on anyone with it.
Gio said yesterday he'd have no problem playing the right side, so trading for Chychrun, he can play on either side, too. |

send him to the AHL for conditioning a few weeks before. |

That would only work if it was the Tampa Bay Lightning and Muzzin was Kucherov |

Still hopeful Amirov can get through his brutal health troubles, he could be on that list. |

This season we could 100% see Dubas swing for the fences on a trade. Whether or not that's at deadline time for a player like Kane or sooner for Chychrun.
Chychrun. - GreatGigInTheSky
Unload the muzz (NTC I know, but Dubas can work his magic).
Grab Kane and Chychrun.....Boom Cup!
Unless Murray and his big 4.6m contract sinks the team by sucking.
We'll have no new top end prospects for the next 3 years as our 1st's and 2nd's will all be moved out to acquire the above.
So simple. |

Where do you all think the Leafs rank in the East this season? Or better yet are they ahead of Tampa, Florida, Carolina, and NYR? |

Im not trying to downplay him, but I just dont know what to expect from him anymore.
The games he's played in the NHL havent really been impressive IMO. But we know he has the talent, maybe he needs more time to get it going?
We'll see this year. |

Just more time and more games IMO - plenty of good players have hit their stride after a few NHL seasons. |

I think that it's silly to rank any of them - they are all going to finish within 10 points of each other, and a large part of that will be due to in-season injuries.
And don't sleep on Boston. |

He looked decent in a few games when playing higher up the lineup, but he was also hurting and playing mostly lower in the lineup.
I think with a legit opportunity, he could flourish. |

I think the Canes will be tops in the east....maybe just over 110pts
Florida will be tougher to play against in some areas but I dont think they finish with 120+ pts, so they may take a step back points wise, probably 105 - 110pts.
I think the Rangers could increase their pt total by a little.
Tampa will be over a 100pts but maybe a little less than what they did last year... 100 - 105pts?
I think the leafs may take a little step back pts wise (100 to 110pts)
A good portion of the bottom teams seem to have improve (sens, Sabres, jackets, habs) |

Hope so.
Maybe he can replace Buntin next season. |
