I dont see zona doing that deal. I dont see them taking on both Kerfoot and holl plus I feel like they will want a D prospect/player who's young and has more control....like a Sandin or Lili

If you were Arizona, would you take that deal?

I think the Canes will be tops in the east....maybe just over 110pts
Florida will be tougher to play but I dont think they finish with 120+ pts, so they may take a step back points wise, probably 105 - 110pts.
I think the Rangers could increase their pt total by a little.
Tampa will be over a 100pts but maybe a little less than what they did last year... 100 - 105pts?

Don't know if the Yotes would want that deal, but that's definitely in line with what I've read other teams offering for Chychrun.

If Bunting gets another 60+ pts this year...he'll be looking at 5m + per season for sure.
Now, some of that could be covered by the Kerfoot departure, unless he is traded prior with cap coming back.

I think they'd absolutely take them, because they'd need to, but also Kerfoot can be flipped for a good return and Holl helps them lose to get Bedard.

But yeah, absolutely Sandin and maybe Robertson would need to be in the trade, too.

After only two 61pt seasons Nylander was giving 6.9 per....many years ago.
If bunting gets 63pts or more again this season, I see no reason why he wouldnt ask for a minimum of 5m+ per.

In theory, it sounds great to just put Muzzin on LTIR, and bring him back for the playoffs.

But ask yourself: how rusty would he be?

If we don't want to get in trouble with the league, you'd only be able to get him practicing with the team for about 14 weeks before the playoffs start.

I mean, age is a huge difference when getting those numbers. Also, Bunting played with the leagues MVP and the other winger was named the NHL's 1st team all-star for RW.

I hope he (his agent) understands all that. Unlikely, but I hope.
