They don’t have the cap space to sign him. They wouldn’t have any picks left to throw in any deal to take bad contracts. So the only way it would work is to trade some valuable guys and that’s never gonna happen. Would love to have him but they are not making a bunch of moves that would probably weaken them overall just to get him.

Nor do we have the 3rd rounder needed to offer sheet him. Yotes are getting that for Ladd.

100%. Honestly didn’t know squat about him when we traded our first for him but I’m excited to see what he can do. Needed some hits from the blue line imo and if he can grow his game a bit offensively even better. All around excited to see if this team can bounce back under Lambert.

100%. Honestly didn’t know squat about him when we traded our first for him but I’m excited to see what he can do. Needed some hits from the blue line imo and if he can grow his game a bit offensively even better. All around excited to see if this team can bounce back under Lambert.
